Will there be group leaders?

Yes! Each age group will travel to their events with a group leader.

 

Can my child choose which events to participate in?

Your child will participate in all events for their age group.

 

Do we sign up as homeschool groups or individual families?

Each family will sign up individually.

 

What do I need to bring for the day of?

Families are encouraged to dress according to the weather; hats, sunscreen, raincoats, umbrellas. Children are also asked to follow dress code as per policy. Remember to bring money for lunch, drinks and snacks at the Canteen!

 

Who is this event for?

This event is for all homeschooled children born 2006-2017.

You do not need to be part of a homeschool group to register.

 

When will the decision be made to cancel the event due to inclement weather?

An email will be sent out by 7am the day of the event. The email address submitted in your registration will be used. We will still proceed if there is light rain.

 

If the event is postponed, will there be a rain date?

Yes! If the event is cancelled due to weather, there will be a rain date of June 15th.

 

Are there reimbursements for the event?

There are no refunds for this event.

 

How long does the meet last from start to finish?

The event will begin at 8:30am. Please plan for the whole day. Once the events are complete and ribbons have been handed out they are free to leave with you. We will aim to be wrapped up at approximately 3:30pm.

 

Will there be food or can we bring our own?

There will be food available for purchase. You are also welcome to bring your own food as well. Food purchased at our Canteen (food tent) is CASH only.

 

Does my child need track experience?

No experience is required. All children are encouraged to participate in all events for their given age.

 

How much does it cost?

Registration fees are $15.00 per child.

 

How can I help?

Your help is needed and appreciated! All participating families (SALT and non SALT) families must have at least one adult volunteering to work an event or shepherd a group of younger participants. Please sign yourself up when you register your children.

What will my Preschooler/JK/SK be doing?

There are no events offered for preschool, junior and senior kindergarten. Please find alternative care for your little ones.
